She currently writes, edits and submits material for Preppermint and works at G-105 in Raleigh to keep her mad skills fresh.

Listener Feedback

Listener email is one of the best things to happen to feedback intensive radio shows. Now listeners can send messages and feedback to jocks and shows when they’re not on the air, and can do so from work at their desk – when a call to a radio station might arouse suspicion that they are not entirely focused on their job. Radio station websites should and do encourage email from listeners. Here are a few tips to help bring in more missives.

Use The Right Domain

Since your listeners are more familiar with your radio station domain name, use an email address at that domain. Every time you say the email address, it’s promoting your website. Have your webmaster or web host set it up for you. You can even have all of those emails just forward to your corporate account, so you don’t have to keep up with two separate addresses.
